Pearson Adair is an energy consulting practice founded on decades of industry experience and expertise. Our founding partners, Kyle Pearson and Lesa Adair, bring a combined 75 years of chemical engineering and commercial experience from throughout the energy value chain, and are supported by a seasoned staff with over 139 years of combined midstream and downstream consulting expertise.

Together, Pearson Adair’s team provides technical and economic advice to clients seeking to evaluate and/or advance opportunities and resolve issues in the dynamic energy industry. Kyle has over 30 years of operating and consulting experience in the energy industry. His expertise includes pipelines, natural gas processing and marketing, and terminals completing project feasibility, valuation, and due diligence studies as well as technical litigation support and expert testimony.

Lesa Adair began her career in the energy industry with ARCO OIL and Gas Company in 1982. During the next decade, she gained experience in the exploration, development, midstream, and marketing segments of ARCO’s lower 48 operations. Since 1992, Lesa has provided advisory, consulting, management, and expert services for clients worldwide engaged in project development, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures in the exploration/development, midstream, gas processing, biofuels, refining, transportation, marketing, and electrical generation sectors.

Horace Hobbs recently retired as Chief Economist at Phillips 66 after a distinguished and unique 37 year career, primarily in consulting, in and around the global energy industry. He joined Phillips 66 after its formation in 2012 to help develop and lead long term planning, capital allocation and corporate development processes. Presently, he consults and provides C suite and ministerial level advisory on topics that require a blend of technical, commercial and global perspective. He is particularly interested in helping companies thrive in the coming energy transition.

With over 25 years in the energy industry, Susan Starr assists clients with asset valuation, project feasibility/development, financial statement/settlement review, and market analysis within the transportation, processing, refining, and storage segments of the industry.

Justin has broad experience across the energy industry value chain over 12 years working in the industry. He has completed assignments in refining, chemical manufacturing, gas gathering and processing, and crude oil storage and transportation. He has direct industry experience in economic modelling, project feasibility and execution, construction contracts and disputes, and due diligence.

Carl has over 30 years of operating and consulting experience in the energy industry. His direct industry expertise includes major international offshore field projects, including FPSO’s; working under Production Sharing Contracts; midstream gas processing facilities; due diligence studies; insurance claims support; construction disputes; technical litigation support; and expert testimony.

David has over 5 years of operating and consulting experience in the energy industry, including responsibilities for gathering and compression, cryogenic gas plants, NGL fractionators, and pipelines. He has direct industry experience in project development, project execution, process engineering, due diligence studies, and technical support.

Kathy Kerry has over 28 years of experience in finance and energy consulting. Since beginning her career in energy consulting in 1991, she has been involved in projects spanning the breadth of the energy industry from the wellhead to the end users.

Christie Bridges has over 15 years of experience in the energy industry focused primarily in the areas of accounting, finance, commercial analysis, and GIS Analytics. She began her career at Williams where she was responsible for asset accounting for Transco Pipeline.

Terri Broerman has over 25 years of experience in staff, executive staff and office management positions. She has been responsible for all aspects of business management in relatively large corporate, smaller independent, and start-up situations. Terri’s responsibilities have included office contracts, bid proposals, bid pre-qualification submissions and renewals, purchasing and staff training, as well as administrative responsibilities for payroll and benefits administration.
