At ARCO, she managed reservoir engineering evaluations associated with exploration and development projects, assessed the economic values of acquisition and divestiture activities, analyzed natural gas shut-in strategies, completed engineering design projects, managed the construction of pipelines and plant projects, and supervised production operations. Lesa’s final assignment with ARCO was in domestic crude oil trading and marketing. In the crude trading group, she negotiated crude oil purchases/sales, evaluated transportation logistics, managed pipeline scheduling, analyzed refinery operations, assessed the commercial aspects of potential mergers and asset trades, and formulated options and futures strategies.
Lesa’s primary focus as a consultant has been to advise clients worldwide regarding issues and opportunities in the energy space. In addition, she was an active member of the Muse Leadership team holding positions as Vice President, Corporate Treasurer, CFO and CEO of Muse, Stancil & Co. and, from 1998 to 2016 served as a member of the Muse Board of Directors. In early 2016, Lesa joined Kyle Pearson to form Pearson Adair & Co.
Throughout the course of her consulting career, Lesa has been engaged to assist clients in the evaluation of both technical and commercial issues related to mergers, asset transactions, project development, project finance, business startup, bankruptcy/workout, and dispute resolution. Experiences gained in over 40 years working in the upstream, midstream, downstream, and retail sectors of the energy industry assets provide Lesa with a broad knowledge base to analyze and evaluate a broad range of issues including project evaluation, development, and management; operations management; and contract evaluation/negotiation.
