Kyle began his career with ExxonMobil supporting operations in the company’s Beaumont integrated petrochemical complex. Between 2007 and 2010, he held several process engineering positions in refinery, chemical, and plastics manufacturing. In 2010, Kyle transitioned to a business and commercial focused role as the Beaumont Refinery Crude and Fuel Oil Coordinator. In this role he oversaw crude oil supply logistics, economic valuation, and feedstock run plan delivery for the refinery. Kyle completed his time with ExxonMobil as a process engineering supervisor.
Kyle joined Noble Energy in 2014 and shifted to the upstream onshore oil and gas segment of the industry. During his time at Noble, Kyle led an effort to establish an Operations Control Center team focused on artificial lift optimization, remote facility operations, and product transportation to market. In 2017, Kyle moved overseas as a residential expatriate in the Eastern Mediterranean to support upstream offshore oil and gas activities. While overseas, Kyle was responsible for the operations support teams and the brownfield capital project execution. In addition, Kyle supported the hookup and commissioning phase for the Leviathan greenfield major project startup in late 2019.
Chevron acquired Noble Energy in 2020 and Kyle transitioned to a senior engineering role focused on Asset Integrity and Process Safety across Chevron’s worldwide portfolio. Kyle conducted Audits and Assessments for both domestic and international assets across the energy value chain. Kyle also supported due diligence assessments for both conventional energy and energy transition acquisition targets. In 2023, he returned to petroleum refining in an Operations leadership position at the Richmond Refinery.
Kyle joined Pearson Adair in 2025 and draws on experience across the worldwide energy value chain to advise clients on technical, operational, and economic issues.
