Lesa S. Adair
Lesa Adair began her energy consulting career with ARCO Oil and Gas Company in 1992. There she provided advisory and management services for clients engaged in project development, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures in the transportation, gas processing, biofuels, refining, marketing, and electrical generation sectors.
During Lesa’s tenure at ARCO, she completed diverse assignments that included managing reservoir engineering evaluations associated with exploration and development projects, assessing the economic value of acquisition and divestiture activities, analyzing natural gas shut-in strategies, completing engineering design projects, and supervising operations at existing production properties. Lesa’s final assignment with ARCO was in domestic crude oil trading and marketing. In the crude trading group, she evaluated transportation logistics, managed pipeline scheduling, analyzed the refinery operations, assessed the commercial aspects of potential mergers and asset trades, and formulated options and futures strategies.
From 1992 to 2016, Lesa served as a consultant and as Vice President, Corporate Treasurer, CFO and CEO of Muse, Stancil & Co. From 1998 to 2016, she served on the Muse Board of Directors. Although a member of the Muse leadership team for almost two decades, Lesa’s primary focus has been to consult with clients worldwide regarding issues and opportunities in the energy space. In early 2016, Lesa joined Kyle Pearson to form Pearson Adair & Co.
Throughout the course of her consulting career, Lesa has advised clients on both technical and commercial issues related to mergers, asset transactions, project development, business start-ups, bankruptcy/workout, and dispute resolution. She has experience in the transportation, processing, refining, marketing, and electrical generation sectors and brings over 30 years of direct experience in the energy industry including project evaluation, development, and management; operations management; and contract evaluation/negotiation .
Lesa is a frequent speaker at national and international energy industry conferences and is the author of 25 papers and presentations covering the industry’s technical, economic, and commercial matters.
